52 Wochen Krefeld. 52 Bilder.Darum geht es. Jede Woche ein Bild, das diese Stadt so zeigt, wie man sie erleben kann, wenn man durch die Straßen läuft. Sicherlich werden traditionelle „Postkartenmotive“ dabei sein, aber ich will mich auf die Alltäglichkeiten dieser Stadt konzentrieren. Denn wie andere Städte auch hat Krefeld viele interessante Motive zu bieten, die den Hiesigen langweilig, Auswärtigen aber durchaus interessant erscheinen mögen. Diese Motive zu finden und zu zeigen will ich in diesem Blog erreichen.
Angeregt durch Blogs wie etwa [daily dose of imagery] versuche ich nicht nur, jede Woche ein neues, sondern jede Woche vor allem ein aktuelles Bild einzustellen. Allerdings folge ich dieser Zielsetzung nicht sklavisch – das Bild an sich ist wichtiger als sein Aufnahmedatum.
52 weeks Krefeld. 52 Photos.This is what it’s all about. One photo every week, portraying the city as it can be experienced while strolling through the streets. Of course, this may include a few of the usual postcard scenes but I want to focus on the more ordinary. Since Krefeld, as every other city, offers plenty of scenes that may appear boring to local residents while being interesting to non-locals at the same time. Finding and displaying these is what I strive for with this blog.
Inspired by blogs such as [daily dose of imagery], I do not only intend to post a new photo, but a current photo every week. However, I won’t ’slavishly‘ follow this objective — the picture as such is more important than the date it’s taken.
